Fiberday · fiber tracker & food log

One fiber ring.
One pear closes it.

Tap what you ate and watch the ring fill. If it’s still open in the evening, one line names the food that closes it, and a second ring counts every different plant you eat this week, up to 30.

30 plants a week

Every different plant
counts once.

Fruit, vegetables, wholegrains, beans, nuts and seeds each count once a week; herbs and spices count a quarter. Fiberday knows 384 of them, so you log the food and the plants are counted for you. The week starts again on Monday.

A closer look

One ring a day,
and the food that closes it.

Your ring starts near what you eat now and grows 3 g a week toward your goal, so nobody asks you to double your fiber overnight. You don’t count everything: just fiber and plants.

If your ring is still open in the evening, one line says what would close it: “5 g to go. 1 medium pear does it.” Picked from foods you already eat, plus everyday staples.

Every different plant counts once a week; herbs and spices count a quarter. Your garden fills in as you log, and the fiber finder shows what you haven’t had yet.

pip

A tiny pear who notices.

pip reacts to everything you log, cheers when the ring closes, and tells you when a day has been plenty and it’s time for water.

What’s free

Four promises, and none of them cost a thing.

The rings are free. For good.

The fiber ring and the plants ring, food search, barcode and label scans, logging, eat again, 3 saved meals, 7 days of progress, widgets, Siri and iCloud backup cost nothing, and never will. Fiberday Pro adds snap, say or describe a meal, every saved meal, all of your history and more.

No account. Your log stays yours.

No sign-up, and your food log never goes to a Fiberday server: it lives on your iPhone and, if you keep backup on, in your own iCloud. Analytics count taps and screens, never what you ate, and Apple Health data never leaves the phone.

Go slow, on purpose.

The ring starts near what you eat now and grows 3 g a week, because the British Dietetic Association advises adding fiber gradually and drinking enough as you go. Every source is linked in the app.

Works offline.

About 8,000 foods live on your phone, so search works on a plane or in a basement café. A connection is only used to look up a barcode, search branded foods, open a recipe link, or buy or restore Fiberday Pro.

Why it exists

Most food apps count everything. Fiberday counts fiber and plants, and names the one food that closes today’s ring.

What Fiberday is, and isn’t

Fiberday is a food log. It tracks what you eat against a goal you choose; it doesn’t diagnose or treat anything. Made by one developer, for iPhone.

Free on the App Store. The rings, food search and the barcode scanner stay free for good; Fiberday Pro is optional.
